Eventually, in spending a summer on the island in Maryland from which the largest number of steamed blue crabs originate, I was going to have to learn how to torture kill and eat my own crabs. The keys to successfully cooking and eating my own steamed crabs were obviously going to include NOT getting pregnant, losing a finger, or using the wrong spice blend.
